The Quantum GIS project released the development version 1.6 "Copiapo" on 27 November 2010. In parallel, we have created the openSUSE packages for the Application:Geo repository. To install the package for openSUSE, simply add the following URL to your repository manager:

• http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/Application:/Geo/ <openSUSE_Version> /
