Since late 2010, there is a new sub repostitory in Application:Geo called "Application:Geo:Postgres9PostGIS1. This repository provides latest PostgreSQL 9.x packages along with matching PostGIS 1.5.x packages. You can use the repository, together with the Application:Geo software in your openSUSE installation and then install the packages. Currently, the openSUSE versions SLE_11, openSUSE 11.2, 11.3 and Factory are supported.
