Remote Sensing

The use of remote sensing plays an increasingly important role in the analysis of spatial issues. This is supported by a wide range of different types of aerial and satellite imagery as well as laser scan data. Possible applications are: land use classification, geological, mineralogical and hydrological projects, forest condition assessment, disaster management, cartography, planning, erosion, climate change, or even mobile networks.

Consulting
We offer consulting, what remote sensing data make sense and should be used in a project to produce optimal results, e.g. for vegetation detection. Upon request, we also perform geometric and radiometric data controls, so you can be sure that your data meet the requirements.

Data preprocessing We perform various data preparation and analysis steps for aerial and satellite imagery. This includes geometric and radiometric improvements, such as atmospheric correction, component analysis and pan sharpening as well as matrix filtering, texture analysis and the creation of vegetation indices.

Classification We perform supervised and unsupervised classifications on the basis of pixel and geometric / radiometric combined methods for the classification of aerial and satellite imagery. Together with our partner company nature-consult, we are specialized in semi-automated vegetation mapping.

Laser Scanning We analyze laser scan data based on first and last pulse information. In this context we offer data preparation, extraction of buildings and data interpolation using different interpolation methods according to the project requirements.
