As a geoinformatics company an important focus of our work is the aquisition, preparation, management, analysis and presentation of spatial information using geographic information systems (GIS and WebGIS). In this context spatial information is always in the center of our solutions. In the implementation of projects and data infrastructures, we are specialized in the use of Free Open Source Software (FOSS) and Free Geodata for years and try to integrate them as far and as often as possible.
Data aquisition
We perform data recording in the field with high-resolution GPS unit. We digitize (also topologically) on the basis of thematic and topographic maps, and based on satellite and aerial image data directly on screen. If desired, we also scan and georeference analog maps in advance of digitization.
Data preparation
We georeference data using various methods. We convert data into different file formats (including databases) and between raster and vector data models. In addition, we perform topological tests and corrections for vector data.
Data management
We help to manage spatial data efficiently and to integrate them into existing spatial infrastructures. e.g. spatial databases. This includes the provision and visualization of spatial data via OGC services, such as WMS or WFS according to current standards.
| Data analysis |
We perform customized analyses of 2D and 3D vector and raster data as part of your project requirements. This includes for example data overlay, statistical analysis, interpolation methods, modeling, reliefanalyses and vector network analyses.
| Remote sensing |
Besides the analysis of vector and raster data, we are also specialized in the processing and analysis of aerial and satellite imagery. An emphasis falls on a thematic classification and the processing and integration of laser scan data into the analysis.
Data presentation
As an additional service we offer support in the presentation of spatial information. Our services include the layout of paper maps in different formats, creating digital animations, such as of time series as well as the provision of data via Web GIS applications. |
