From 11. - 13. November 2011 the 6. Quantum GIS Developer Meeting took place in Zurich, Switzerland. During the three days 25 QGIS geeks from Italy, France, Portugal, Netherlands, England, Czech Republic, Germany, Austria, Switzerland and South Africa met to work on the projekt.

On Thursday the meeting started with a talk by Tim Sutton (QGIS Release Manager) with the title "The Quantum GIS Project - A virtual tour of the QGIS project (and some of its developers and users)" (~12MB). An interesting summary of the meeting is available at the Linfiniti Geo Blog.
