Monday, 05 July 2010 11:24

Together with the companies c4g (North Devon) and SQW Consulting (London), a socio-economic survey was conducted for the South West of England. In this context more than 100 statistical information from various sources were processed at Lower Layer Super Output Area (LSOA) level and represented spatially. Based on the software Quantum GIS a tool was created that the client can boot from a DVD to access the statistical information directly and to visualize and/or conduct further analysis if desired.

SEAT SW Clusteranalyse

Additionally, on the basis of 34 socio-economic input values, a cluster analysis was done, which reduces the socio-economic situation to seven basic, regional characteristics.
