FOSSGIS is the largest and most important german conference for "Free and Open Source Geographical Information Systems (GIS)". FOSSGIS 2010 will be organized by the FOSSGIS e.V, the Open Source Geospatial Foundation (OSGeo), the Institut für Geoinformatik und Fernerkundung der Universität Osnabrück as well as the Fachhochschule Osnabrück and took place in Osnabrück from 02. - 05. March 2010.

GBD-consult was involved to ensure the smooth running of the workshops. Otto Dassau contributed workshops and talks about GRASS and Quantum GIS and provided a QGIS booth.
